Arovia Splay 30-Day Trial Terms, Return Policy, and Cancellation Policy

30-Day Trial Terms

Arovia offers a 30-day trial for the Splay, designed to give you an opportunity to experience the product before making a final purchase decision. By initiating a trial, you agree to the following terms:

  1. Trial Period
    • You have 21 days from the date of delivery to test the Splay.
    • You have an additional 7 days to either initiate a return or decide to keep the Splay.
    • If a return is not initiated within 30 calendar days from the delivery date, the full purchase amount will be charged to your payment method.
  2. Trial Deposit & Preauthorization Charge
    • A $100 non-refundable deposit is charged at the time you initiate the trial.
      • This deposit covers shipping costs to and from the customer.
      • If you decide to keep the Splay, this deposit will be applied to the total purchase price, meaning the final cost will be $999 ($100 deposit + $899 balance).
    • On the day the trial begins, an $899 preauthorization charge will be placed on your payment method.
      • This is a hold, not a withdrawal, ensuring your payment method can cover the total cost.
      • The hold remains in place for the full 30-day trial period.
      • If you initiate a return within the required timeframe and the product is returned in working condition, the $899 hold will be released.
        • Authorizations can only remain active for 30 days, so while we process your return, you may see multiple authorizations after the trial period has ended.       • If a return is not initiated by the 30th day, the $899 hold will be processed as a final charge and withdrawn from your payment method.

  3. Final Payment
    • If you keep the Splay beyond 30 days, the total amount due will be $999.
    • If you return the Splay within the allowed timeframe and in proper condition, the $899 hold will be released, and you will only have paid the $100 deposit.

Return Policy

Arovia offers a simple return process for trial users:

  1. Eligibility for Return
    • You must initiate the return within 30 days from the delivery date.
    • The product must be returned in working condition with no missing or damaged parts.
    • Arovia reserves the right to charge for broken or missing parts if damage is assessed upon return inspection. We will communicate to you what the damages are and what the cost will be before capturing payment for the repairs, and release the remaining balance of the hold to your account. 
  2. Return Process
    • Arovia will provide a return shipping label at no cost to the customer.
    • To initiate a return, follow these steps:
      1. Click the profile icon in the store's menu or visit our Refund Policy/Returns Page.
      2. Log in to your account using this link: [https://shopify.com/22994087/account] or by selecting "Login" on our website.
      3. Enter the email address you used to purchase your trial and click "Continue".
      4. Check your inbox for an email from Arovia with a six-digit verification code.
      5. Enter the verification code on the online store.
      6. Locate your order from the list of past orders. Then select it.
      7. In the top right corner of the order page, click "Request Return" for the order containing the Splay.
      8. If you ordered multiple items, select the Splay for return.
      9. Select a return reason and add any notes.
      10. Click "Request Return" to submit your return request.
    • If your request is approved, you will receive an email with shipping instructions and a prepaid return shipping label.
    • Once we receive and inspect the returned Splay, the $899 hold will be released and no further charges will apply.
    • Simply requesting a return prevents the $899 charge from being processed, but the hold will remain on your account until we have inspected the unit and confirmed there is no damage.

Cancellation & Chargeback Policy

By initiating a trial of the Splay, you agree to the following terms regarding cancellations and chargebacks:

  1. Unauthorized Chargebacks or Payment Cancellations
    • Any attempt to dispute the charge with your credit card company, cancel your payment method, or otherwise avoid payment after the 30-day trial period will be considered an act of fraud.
    • Arovia strictly enforces payment recovery and will pursue all available avenues, including but not limited to:
      • Engaging a collection agency to recover the full amount owed.
      • Reporting the chargeback or unpaid balance to credit bureaus, which may negatively impact your credit score.
      • Pursuing legal action to recover the debt and any additional fees incurred.
  2. Product Retrieval
    • If you initiate a chargeback or cancel your payment method while still in possession of the Splay, Arovia will consider this an unauthorized retention of property.
    • In such cases, we reserve the right to:
      • Send a collection agency to recover the product or the full payment.
      • Pursue legal action for theft or fraud.
  3. How to Cancel Properly
    • If you no longer wish to proceed with your trial, the only proper way to cancel is to initiate a return through the process outlined above before the 30-day period ends.
    • Simply requesting a return prevents $899 hold from processing, ensuring that no further charges occur.
      • We will inspect the product and if there is no damage the hold will be released in full. If there is damage to the product, we will assess the cost of repair, share this information with you, and only capture the cost of the repair from the hold, and release the remaining balance. 

Final Notice: By participating in the Splay trial, you acknowledge and agree to these terms. Any attempt to circumvent payment obligations will be met with full legal recourse to recover either the product or the total amount due.
